Music Theory

Sometimes, music theory can be complicated. But it also can be very fun!
I use the materials and curriculum from Music Mind Games to teach concepts of music theory. By using these games, I allow my students (young or old!) to relax and enjoy the learning process without feeling overwhelmed by all the concepts that can seem too hard.
Rhythm and note reading, key signatures, solfège, intervals, musical signs and symbols, tempos, and dictation are some of the concepts covered by the curriculum. I incorporate these games in the instrumental lesson and in group classes.
