Why study music?

Many recent studies have discussed the importance and benefits of being involved with music from an early age.

Music making engages most of the brain at once, allow us to express our humanity, and is a life-long process, which nurtures perseverance!

These benefits, however, do not happen only by listening to recordings, but require an active involvement with music by singing or playing an instrument.
